'Weekend Love Chant' is the first single taken from the forthcoming Middle Name Dance Tracks Vol 2. and the follow up to last year's Middle Name Dance Tracks Vol. 1.

The collaboration between Sampology, Megan Christensen and Sam Stosuur was originally intended as a one-off project for Middle Name Dance Tracks Vol 1, but the response to the EP & live show led to more performances and further music creation.

In June and July this year, Middle Name Dance Band took over Brisbane’s Bearded Lady in West End for a fortnightly residency.
'Weekend Love Chant' is a slow jam, baby-making, soulfully sultry groove and was the crowd favourite at this Middle Name Dance band residency. Weekend Love Chant includes trumpet from Tristan Rogers and conga from Jason ‘Paprika’ Bell.
